Nigerians are reacting to the reported death of kidnapped Dapchi school girl, Leah Sharibu, who was on February 19, 2018 alongside 105 other school girls of Dapchi High school.
Following the release of others, Miss Sharibu was left behind because she refused to renounce her faith and covert to Islam.
Since her kidnap, the federal government has been making promises upon promises regarding her release, but all efforts remained futile.
She has been in the captivity of a faction of Islamist terrorists group, West African Province of the Islamic State” (ISWAP), until today – when a video surfaced of another captive of the sect, Grace Taku, who is an aide worker with Red Cross, stating she was dead.
According to Grace Taku, Miss Sharibu had been killed by the sect due to government’s inability to swiftly negotiate her release
