Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation in the country who is also a strong chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has taken to his verified Twitter Page to reveal what he perceives as the greatest obstacles to the liberation of the South from Northern hegemony and bondage.
The PDP Chieftain in a series of tweets stated that, the greatest obstacles were those of the Yoruba stock who hated the Igbo; the Igbo who hated Yoruba; the southern minorities who had hatred towards the Yoruba and Igbo and finally, those of the Yoruba and Igbo stock who had hatred for the southern minorities.
He then went on to press home his point as he said that the pre-requisite to southern emancipation was southern unity.
He said that one could not be achieved without the other, while stresing that the Fulani were not the greatest enemies of the south.
“Southern unity is a fundamental pre-requisite to southern emancipation. Without the former, you cannot achieve the latter. Our greatest enemies are not the northerners or their Fulani masters but the southern fool that is filled with hate and malice for his fellow southerner,” he said.
