OSHIOMHOLE FINALLY SPEAKS ON SOWORE’S #REVOLUTIONNOW PROTEST

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has said Omoyele Sowore was not sincere about #RevolutionNow protest.
It’s the first time the former labour leader would be speaking on the planned protest which was aborted due to clampdown.
The former Edo State governor said the convener of the protest was bitter because he lost the 2019 presidential poll.

ebmzgr ucaaeapc 1386233711Oshiomhole spoke with newsmen after a meeting of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Sowore, the convener of the Global Coalition for Security and Democracy, was the Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the February 23, 2019, presidential election. He is the founder of an online news media Sahara Reporters.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who said Nigerians have the right to protest, however, said they must properly articulate their grievances.

Sowore was arrested two days before the protest at his hotel room in Lagos and was transferred to the Abuja headquarters of the Department of State Service (DSS). On the day of protest (August), some of his supporters were molested and arrested.
The Federal High Court is expected to rule on DSS’ application seeking to detain him for 90 days for it to conclude its investigation.
DSS’ lawyer, G.O. Abadua, who appeared before Justice Taiwo Taiwo on Tuesday the adjournment would afford him the time to watch the video evidence attached to the application by the security agency.
