Premier League giants Everton have launched a £30 million bid for Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi with the transfer market closing tomorrow.
The Toffees are hoping they can lure the Super Eagles star to the Goodison Park having failed to secure the services of Ivorian forward Wilfried Zaha.
Crystal Palace were said to have turned down a £52 million deal from the Merseyside outfit for Zaha according to SunSport.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT’S Jim White claims Everton have turned to the Nigerian star who is expected to cost them lesser and could achieve equal result as his fellow African star.

The publication also revealed that television presenter has a close relationship with the Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri.

Everton have already landed Moise Keen, Andre Gomes, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Fabian Delph this summer in deals worth around £90 million.
And will be willing to add Iwobi to their attack as they kickoff their 2019-20 Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, Standard.co.uk claims Arsenal have rejected the initial bid for Iwobi but could be tempted to cash in before Thursday’s deadline.
The Toffees’ initial offer comprise £25 million fee with a further £5m in add-ons cubject to his performances at the Goodison park. It is believed that Arsenal want £40 million for the Nigerian international.

Iwobi has scored 15 goals and 27 assists in 149 appearances for the north Londoners since he made his senior debut for the club in 2015.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Sporting Lisbon winger Felix Correia has joined Premier League champions Manchester City .
The Portuguese club confirmed the departure of 18-year-old winger Felix Correia on its official Twitter handle.
According to Daily Mail report, the Premier League champions splashed out about £3.2m up front for the winger, who was repeatedly linked with Europe’s top clubs this summer.
